Its time to share some news from the Tinkers Cart, I have sold the business to Carmel Gage. Carmel is a long term employee at Tinkers Cart, both as teacher and "Saturday Girl" !!
It is time for both of us to make changes in our lives and Carmel will take over at Tinkers Cart in the first week in March. Classes will continue as usual as will the same level of service and attention to detail. Carmel will bring a new enthusiasm and her own sense of style and fun to Tinkers Cart.
I am heading off to India, I will hopefully be at base camp on Mt Everest for my 50th birthday on May 1st!! I will stay in India and do some volunteer work at the Mother Theresa orphanage and Hospice for the dying in Calcutta. I am also climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa and then Machu Picchu in St America..all this year. This year will be a good year for me and I will take with me the memories of stories and confidences shared, the friendships and laughs, the glasses of champagne and slices of Sues cake.
I shall be forever grateful for the support friendship and love from Sue and Eva and Carmel...the customers of Tinkers Cart...thank you all xxxx
